Art show and book shipping!
over 4 years ago – Sat, Nov 02, 2019 at 12:47:44 AM

I hope you all are doing well! I've been so busy these past few weeks sorting out all the orders and packing the books, and I am happy to say that I am almost ready to ship! I am packing the last batch of books next week and will start shipping them out as soon as I am done, so you can all start keeping your eyes open for them soon.

Beyond taking care of all of this I have another exciting announcement! I'll be hosting an Art show and book signing event at Gallery Nucleus in Los Angeles on Saturday November 9th between 6-9PM.  If you are in the area I'd love to meet you and celebrate this event together.

Once again thank you all for your support and patience while I am getting everything ready.

It's Almost shipping time!
over 4 years ago – Thu, Sep 12, 2019 at 04:59:43 PM

The past few weeks have been very busy as I was preparing to Lightbox conference in LA. In case you are not familiar with it it's a new expo celebrating the art of Animation and illustration. It was the first time they held this expo and I could have not been more impressed with the organization and talent that were all pert of the show. Since I was tabling there, I was really hoping to have my book ready in time, even though I knew the schedule was tight. Luckily I was able to receive some advanced copies just a couple of days before the show! I was so happy to see those printed copies, which turned out better than I could have expected, and to share them with all of you who came by.

The big shipment with all the copies of the book is on it's way and should arrive here in the states in the next couple of weeks. Then I'll be able to start getting everything ready for shipping, so hold tight, your book will be delivered shortly!

In the meanwhile there are still some Backers who haven't filled the BackerKit survey I sent. This is very important as the survey requires you to update your shipping address, and without it I can't send you the book. If you read this update and realize you haven't filled the survey yet, please look for it in your inbox or contact me so I can help you sort this out.

Again, thank you so much for all your support and patience!

BackerKit surveys are coming!
over 4 years ago – Mon, Aug 19, 2019 at 07:12:23 PM

It's been a minute since my last update, but I am so happy to share with you that I've recently received the first copy of the book!! It turned out absolutely beautiful and I cannot wait for you all to see it in person. As the rest of the books are being printed and shipped to me, it's time to fill out some surveys.

Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support at

Thank you,

Proofs are in!
over 4 years ago – Fri, Jul 19, 2019 at 01:17:06 AM

It's been a hot minute since I last wrote to you guys!

The last few weeks have been very busy, making all the final tweaks and preparing the book for print.

I received the first proofs for the book and I am happy to share that they look fantastic! As always, there were some things to fix and adjust to make sure everything looks as good as it can be, and now that that part is over, the final file has been sent to the printers! I am expecting to get my first copy for review at the end of the month, and if everything looks okay (fingers crossed) I'll hit the GO button to start printing all of your guys' copies!

In the process of  finalizing the layout I ended up adding some new pages, so now the book will be 136 pages instead of 128 so, there's some good news :) I will send another update as soon as I receive it as I can't wait to share it with you.

Please keep your eyes open for more updates, as I will be sending some surveys soon to let you guys fill in some information and update your addresses in case you've moved.

Thank you again for all of your support!

Well, this is it!

We did it!!!

I've been wanting to make this book for quite some time now, and now thanks to you guys, I'll be able to make it happen! When I started This project a few years ago, I had no idea it will become such a big part of my life. Your support, comments, and stories you shared with me over the past few years, and during this campaign have been such a source of inspiration and I can't thank you enough for that!

So what now?

In the next few weeks I'll be wrapping up the final touches for the artwork,  and finish the layouts for the book to prepare it for print. I'll be posting up[dates about the production both here and on my Instagram, so make sure to follow here. I honestly can't wait to see the book printed!

Also, very important - Keep your eyes open for a survey that I'll be sending you way soon in order to get some important information from you. In the meanwhile please let me know if you have any questions.

Again, thank you so much for following my work, for sharing it with your friends, and helping me bring this book to print!
