Hello Friends.
I hope this message finds you well and in good spirits.
I would like to share some exciting and positive news! My good friend and talented director Uri Lotan have recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund his animated short film "The Slide". From its earliest pre-production stages, this idea has been evolving for almost 5 years and has been in production for the past year or so. At its core, The Slide is a coming-of-age story that explores adult themes through the naive lens and adventure of a young boy named “Eviah”.
I've been fortunate to be part of this project, helping with the concept art, and I am so excited to see how this film is shaping up. The crew is full steam ahead and nearing the halfway point in production, but we need your help to make it the rest of the way!
The campaign's goal is to help raise some funds in order to pay our creative team who has been working tirelessly to bring this vision to life! With your help, we can cross the finish line strong, and give that final push the attention to detail that it deserves. Dear Backers,
I really can't believe it's December already. This year has been one of the busiest years of my life. I started to plan the Kickstarter campaign in January, not knowing much about this process will entail. I've talked to many people and got some incredible advice from friends and colleagues which helped me immensely to plan everything in order to launch in March. When the project was funded within the first few days, I was so happy that I'll be able to bring it to life.
with some hurdles along the way, I managed to get the book printed, and I could not be happier with the result. By now most of you must have received your packages and digital books. I hope you are enjoying flipping through it! seeing some of you posting about it on social media truly makes me happy, after all, this was made for you guys! I'd love to see more of those posts and stories, it's so cool to see that the books are arriving at so many destinations around the world!
I wanted to take a moment and thank all of you again for being part of this project I literally could not have done it without you, and the support you've all show me in the last few years and during this campaign means the world to me.
